Owner, Fishmonger and Chef Tony Licastro has an incredible passion for fish which started back in his home-land – Australia.  Almost as soon as he could walk, Tony was catching fish with his family and eating the catch!  Having arrived in London in 1996, Tony embarked on a fulfilling career as a chef in some of London’s most well know eateries including Nobu, The Armani Caffe and Belgo.

In November 2009 The Fishmongers Kitchen was born at a little market stall in Acton and soon picked up a keen following of regular customers. Shortly after in January 2010 Tony found a site at Brook green to start his dream of serving top quality fish and home made products. 

Tony is keen to encourage others to sample the delights of cooking and eating seafood (not forgetting the health benefits of such a good source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids!) and will be on hand to provide advice on selecting and cooking your fish.
